ME - Multi Engine

 

MULTI ENGINE TRAINING PROGRAMS: 

 

VFR Multi Engine Rating $1150.00

2 – 3 days: 6 hours dual, airplane for flight test,
4 hrs. ground school and briefings, examiner’s fee additional.
Pre-requisites: Private or commercial pilot, airplane single engine land.

IFR Multi Engine Rating $1495.00

3 days: 8 hours dual, airplane for flight test,
4 hrs. ground school and briefings, examiner’s fee additional. 
Pre-requisites: Private or commercial pilot, airplane single engine land with instrument rating. 
Note: Students without complex airplane IFR proficiency will require additional training.

ATP Certificate $1495.00

Multi Engine, 3 days: 8 hrs. dual, airplane for flight test,
4 hrs. ground school & briefings, examiner’s fee additional.
Pre-requisites: Commercial pilot, airplane multi engine land with instrument rating, completion of ATP knowledge exam, flight experience as per FAR 61.159. 
Note: Students without multi engine IFR competency will require additional training.

Multi Engine and Multi Engine Instrument Ratings $ 5500.00

3 weeks: 16 hours ATC 610 dual, 30 hours Apache dual, airplane for multi engine and instrument 
flight tests, 10 hours ground school and briefings, (2) examiners’ fees additional. 
Pre-requisites: Private or commercial pilot, airplane single engine land, 45 hours cross country PIC experience, completion of knowledge exam.

Multi Engine Instrument Rating $ 4600.00

3 weeks: 16 hours ATC 610 dual, 25 hours Apache dual, airplane for flight test, 6 hours ground school and briefings, examiner’s fee additional. 
Pre-requisites: Private or commercial pilot with multi engine rating, 45 hours cross country PIC experience, completion of knowledge exam.

Multi Engine Instructor Rating $ 1235.00 

3 days: 6 hrs. dual, airplane for flight test 5 hrs. ground school & briefings, examiner’s fee additional. 
Pre-requisites: Commercial pilot, airplane single and multi engine land with instrument rating, flight instructor airplane single engine, 10 hours multi engine pilot in command. 
Note: 200 hours of instructing experience is helpful. Students without much
instructing experience will require additional ground and flight training.

Multi Engine Time Building with Enhanced Instrument Training $80.00/hr

Duration as desired, approx. 30 hours per week. 

Pre-requisites: Private or commercial pilot with multi engine rating, min. 20 hours of instrument dual or instrument rating. Initial check-out and ground school required, average cost: $500-$750.00, depending on multi-engine experience. Lower for PAS trained pilots: $ 250.00

Note: Requires two multi engine rated pilots to share expenses. Initial check-out cost varies with experience.

Customized Multi Engine Training Programs

Other customized multi engine training, such as removal of “Multi Engine VFR Only” restriction, upgrade of “Private Privileges: Airplane Multi Engine Land” to commercial privileges, or multi engine refresher training also available, @ $ 155.00/hour dual and @ 30.00/hr. ground school
